Focus and Scope

The REVISTA BRASILEIRA DE DIREITO, initially elaborated by the IMED Law Course - Meridional College - Passo Fundo-RS -, from the year 2013, became linked to the IMED Stricto Sensu Graduate Program. The journal serves as a reference for the dissemination of research carried out at national and international levels of interest to graduate stricto sensu programs.

The papers submitted to the journal will be published after blind approval by two or more research evaluators registered in this journal.

 

Publication Frequency

Are 3 issues are published per year.

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that providing free scientific knowledge to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed file system between participating libraries and allows them to create permanent journal files for preservation and restoration. Know more...

The Brazilian Law Journal linked to the PPGD / IMED receives scientific contributions that help in the development of the Normative Foundations and Mechanisms for Effective Democracy and Sustainability related to the following thematic areas:

 1) Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Jurisdiction and Democracy:

 2) Ethics, Citizenship and Sustainability;

 3) Law and new technologies in the information society; and
