Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between organizational identification and amoral manipulation of company managers, to test this relationship to satisfaction with life. For achieving this, we used a survey with 188 participants through the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWL), Organizational Identification Scale (EIO) and Personality Scale Machiavellian (MPS), addressing the dimensions required for research study problematic. From the results it became clear that the influence of amoral manipulation in satisfaction with life is negative, in the perception of respondents. Unethical behaviors prevalent forms of cheating others, they are not seen as satisfactory for the achievement of a lifetime good or desired, thus justifying that “the ends do not justify the means.” Through the testing of organizational identification moderating variable, it was evidenced that the more this identification is perceived by the individual, the less understanding there is amoral manipulation, thus increasing satisfaction with life and confirming the moderating effect on this relationship.
