Apego en un Estudio Comparativo con Madres de Niños con TDAH
Resumen
La relación temprana entre el cuidador y el niño permite el establecimiento de un vínculo de apego seguro o inseguro. En el contexto del apego seguro, una buena función reflexiva y de mentalización permite al cuidador comprender sus propios estados mentales y los del niño, adoptando así comportamientos adecuados para el desarrollo del niño. El objetivo fue verificar diferencias en el vínculo afectivo y la función reflexiva en madres de niños con TDAH (n=30) frente a un grupo de madres de niños sin TDAH (n=30). Hubo una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los grupos. Las madres del grupo clínico mostraron una función reflexiva más baja en comparación con las madres del grupo no clínico, de control. Las madres de niños con TDAH muestran deficiencias en la función reflexiva, evidenciadas por mayores niveles de incertidumbre sobre los estados mentales, en comparación con las madres de niños no clínicos. Estos hallazgos están en línea con estudios internacionales y son indicativos de la utilidad de desarrollar programas para ampliar la capacidad reflexiva/mentalizadora de las madres y cuidadores principales de niños con esta condición clínica.
