Abstract

The zoonosis is still an area not very explored in Brazil, however, in the scenario of this discussion, we note the need for a space to guide the public health of cities. The present work aims to elaborate the architectural design of a Zoonoses Control Center in Chapecó city, compatible with current proposals for the population control of animals, aiming at raising the quality of life of the population and seeking animal welfare. To achieve this goal, research and studies was carried out to made the proposal feasible, through bibliographical reviews and media research, as well as on-site visits to volunteer groups in the municipality, to understand better the problem of stray animals and abandonment, being this essential factor to reach in a positive way this needy area in the city.
