Propriedades psicométricas da escala Comprehensive Autistic Trait Inventory (CATI) para adultos brasileiros

Resumo

O Comprehensive Autistic Trait Inventory (CATI) foi o primeiro instrumento de traços de TEA para populações não-clínicas com uma subescala de Camuflagem Social. Este estudo descreve a adaptação e validação do CATI para o contexto brasileiro. O questionário foi aplicado a 710 adultos (Midade = 34,1; DP = 12,0; 82,7% mulheres; 19,9% se declararam autistas). O CATI-BR demonstrou consistência interna robusta (Alfa de Cronbach e Ômega de McDonald das subescalas entre 0,841 e 0,921). Foram testados três modelos através de Análise Fatorial Confirmatória e o modelo de 6 fatores apresentou melhores índices (RMSEA = 0,017, TLI = 0,998 e CFI = 0,998). A validade convergente em relação ao Autism Quotient (AQ) resultou em correlações positivas significativas. A análise de curva ROC identificou um ponto de corte de 146 pontos (com sensibilidade de 94,9% e especificidade de 83,01%). Os resultados indicam o CATI-BR como uma ferramenta promissora para avaliar traços de TEA na população brasileira.
