Relações Entre Apego do Pai, Envolvimento Paterno e Abertura ao Mundo

Resumo


Este estudo investigou a relação entre o apego do pai, o envolvimento paterno e a abertura ao mundo, na perspectiva do pai de crianças. Participaram do estudo 171 pais de crianças entre 4 e 6 anos de idade. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: Escala de Apego Adulto (EAA), Questionário de Engajamento Paterno (QEP), Questionário de Abertura ao Mundo (QOM). A análise dos dados mostrou que os pais com apego seguro se envolvem de forma predominante em atividades de estímulo ao risco e se dedicam nos cuidados básicos com a criança, do que os pais com apego inseguro, e essa diferença mostrou-se estatisticamente significativa. Evidenciou-se que os pais que desenvolveram um apego seguro sentem-se mais confiantes para incentivar seus filhos a explorarem o ambiente e desenvolverem atividades desafiadoras, lhes dando segurança e promovendo sua autonomia e, também, se consideram preparados para cuidar da criança, alimentando-a, dando banho, levando-a à escola, entre outras atividades.
