Resumo

Conflict mediation is being increasingly used as a new paradigm regarding to conflict resolution, social-education and social emancipation. Faced with the theoretical and technical challenges the mediation tends to approach other fields of human knowledge to develop their concepts and techniques, such as Psychology. This article, by a bibliographic revision method, aims to provoke reflection on what the possibilities of interfaces of values, concepts and techniques can be built between conflict mediation and Humanistic Psychology and sensitize researchers to develop more studies about this subject, because it demonstrates the remarkable lack of research concerning Humanistic Psychology and conflict mediation despite its ideological closeness.
